Carolyn B. Allen, formerly of Fort Washington and Ambler, died Tuesday December 11, 2018 at her home in Fort Washington Estates.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Helen (nee Evans) Biddle. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband Harvey B. Allen, Jr. in 2010.
Carolyn and her family were long time summer residents of Cape May, NJ. She was a member of the Mayflower Society and the D.A.R.
Carolyn worked at Ford Electronics in Lansdale and then for 10 years as a Tipstaff with the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.
Mrs. Allen is the devoted mother of Stephen E. Allen and his wife Suzanne of Rock Hall, MD, Patricia L. Allen of Lansdale, Harvey B. Allen III and his wife Beth of Gilbertsville, and Elizabeth C. Hartman wife of the late Paul Hartman of Lansdale. She is the loving Grandmother of Timothy Allen, Andrew Allen, Nicholas Allen, Kathleen Allen Becker, Ryan Hartman and Evan Hartman. In addition Carolyn is survived by her 10 Great Grandchildren and her sister Eleanor Kliewer of TN.
Funeral Service and Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
