Michelle Kay "Shelley" (Perkins) Armstrong, daughter of Russell Ward and Helen Grace (Baucom) Perkins was born on August 22, 1955. She passed away, after a brief illness, early on December 24, 2018 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 63.

Following their wedding they made their home in Essex where they raised three children; Jason, Nikki and Jamie. Shelley and Ken were busy following their children around for sporting and band events and later their grandchildren's events and activities.

In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Shelley was known around town as being a school bus driver from many years. Later, she was known as the "famous" pizza maker at Casey's.
