"David and I really enjoyed being with Sudi and Harry various times over the years. He was a great guy and enjoyed his passion for sailing. We experienced that passion several times and just loved being on his boat. Harry will be missed by Sudi, his family, and all of his friends. Janet & David Young "

"I met Harry at AHS. In 1966 he became my brother-in-law when he married my sister, Eleanor. With his daughters, Holly and Chris, and my children, Laurie and Bill, our two families experienced many fun times together: vacationing at the Jersey shore and Martha's Vineyard, celebrating "Pretend Christmases," hiding eggs on Easter morning. Our families remained connected through sad times and joyous ones: separating from our spouses, celebrating our children's weddings. I met Sudi when Harry brought her to my son's wedding. The last time I saw Harry and Sudi was at Holly's house one Christmas. Sudi and I chuckled over a picture I carried in my small photo album - the Obama family! Recently I sent Harry a small rose quartz heart with a letter and told him, "I love you, Harry." I'm glad I did."

"We were saddened and shocked to hear of Harry's passing. A high school friend of both of us. Much more than that, we spent 55 years on our reunion committee together, with Harry certainly being a mainstay of our committee, right down to accounting for the last penny of everyone's money. He always did a fabulous job. Harry will be sorely missed by many, especially his children and grandchildren. His love of them was evidenced in the photos that we saw yesterday. Harry, you were "one of a kind," and we are thankful for fond memories of a great and long relationship. Carol and Dave Schmauk"

"So many great memories of Uncle Harry and his family as we grew up. From weekend family dinner events, trips to the beach and Martha?s Vineyard, and even sailboat rides on the Chesapeake.. Uncle Harry was gracious enough to even offer me my first real job at his appraisal company while I was in college, giving me a glimpse into the business while I shadowed him for a summer. I wll surely remember his contagious smile, how he loved being with family and friends, and seeing how much he enjoyed just making us laugh. I am blessed to have known him and will always remember the time together. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family."
