In loving memory of

Darlene Fairchild Scotto Di Santolo
August 22, 1971 - December 28, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Darlene Fairchild Scotto Di Santolo announce her sudden passing. On December 28, 2018 she passed away at Community Medical Center in Toms River and joined her father in heaven. She was 47 years old and leaves behind her three greatest joys and pride, her children. Rosa, Arianna, and Dante. Darlene is survived by her husband Michele of Toms River, her mother Susan of Deltona, Florida. Her step-father Al Kappler of Maplewood, NJ. Her sister Dawn Zseleczky and her husband Michael and niece Kira and nephew Tristan of Toms River and her sister Myla Roselli of Deltona, Florida. She also leaves behind numerous friends that adored her and Darlene will be so very missed by all of her Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Family and friends were Darlene's passion and delight. Darlene had a warm and inviting spirit about her that when you saw her smile it would light up the room along with her contagious and beautiful laugh. She was a hopeless romantic at heart who enjoyed being snuggled up on the couch watching old black and white movies. She dreamt one day of owning her own bridal shop, but more than anything in this world she loved her three children. To say Darlene will be missed is an understatement, she will be mourned for and longed for, for years to come. She will be remembered for the bubbly, loving woman she truly was. She will be remembered when the wind touches our hair in just the right way, she will be remembered on a beautiful sunny day, she will be remembered when the skies are grey, but most importantly she will always be remembered. Cremation was private under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A mass will be offered at 9:30am on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Saint Justin's Church, 975 Fischer Boulevard, Toms River. There will be a celebration of her life with family and friends after the mass at Saint Justin's Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations of pet supplies/toys/blankets/towels can be made to Brick Town Veterinary Hospital, 251 Chambersbridge Road Brick, NJ 08723.

"Growing up a younger cousin Dar always welcomed me and my family to her home for summer vacations or weekends and we would spend so much time with her and her family growing up as kids to teenagers to adults with our own families. Looking back I have so many memories thanks in part to her wonderful hospitality and gracious heart she will be truly missed for a eternity. RIP I know you will always be looking down on your kids and your family. Helping them and all our family with whatever struggles that come our way. Love you and miss you Justin"
