Richard Jaeger
March 22, 1928 - December 28, 2018

Richard Jaeger, of Antigo, died Friday, December 28, 2018, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. He was 90 years old. He was born on March 22, 1928, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Erwin and Maryann (Schafer) Jaeger. He married Patricia Gilewski on November 14, 1953, in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on March 7, 2005.

Richard proudly served in the United States Navy.

He was an insurance agent and financial advisor having worked throughout the state of Wisconsin.

He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Richard was an avid hunter. He taught hunters safety and was a Boy Scout leader. He enjoyed shooting trap at the Phlox Sportsman Club. While in Milwaukee he enjoyed ushering in church and volunteering for church functions.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Nowak of Winston Salem, NC; two sons, Dale (Debra) Jaeger of Pickerel and Scott Jaeger of Antigo; two grandchildren, Christopher (Ange) Jaeger and Jeffery (Val) Jaeger; two great-grandchildren; Alexis and Caleb; and a sister, Maryann Buchanan of Dallas, TX.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in the Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 4 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
