Eunice Corrine Jennings
September 5, 1932 - December 31, 2018

Eunice Corrine Jennings, age 86 of Prairie City, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018, at Courtyard Estates in Pleasant Hill. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at at 10:30 a.m. at the Prairie City United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Waveland Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 6, 2019, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. Memorials may be directed to the Prairie City United Methodist Church or the Prairie City Ambulance and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Esten and Mildred (English) Enyart, Eunice was born on September 5, 1932 south west of Prairie City. Eunice attended country schools and graduated from Prairie City High School. On April 20, 1952, she was united in marriage to Robert Jennings at the Methodist Church in Prairie City. She worked briefly at the State Bank of Prairie City following this she stayed at home and helped Bob on the farm and raising her family. She was a member of the Prairie City United Methodist Church, where she was involved with the U.M.W. and helped with funeral lunches for many years. Eunice enjoyed dancing and cherished her time with family.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Robert; children, David Lyle (Shayla) Jennings, Kathlyn Joyce (Michael) Banks, Janice Elaine (Steve) Benson, and Denise Lorraine Jennings; eight grandchildren, Katie (Kevin) O'Neill, Christopher Vaughn, Lisa (James Jr.) Giradeau, Amanda (Kyle) Stoner, Timothy (Hannah) Benson, Autumn (Austin) Brandhof, Austin McGee and Avery McGee; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Enyart and Elaine Jennings and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Eunice in death were her parents, a brother, Gordon Enyart and a brother-in-law, Jon Carlton Jennings.
