Fred was born in the Panama Canal Zone on August 28th 1957. He graduated 8th grade from St. Mary's of the Assumption and from Port Richmond High School. He graduated with honors and continued on to receive a technical degree in Engineering from Staten Island City College. After graduating Fred decided to move across country and ended up in sunny San Diego California, where he worked at the shipping yards for several years.

Fred fell in love and was married to Nancy Pinkerton, on March 26th 1988. They enjoyed time traveling to Australia together and eventually moved north to Portland Oregon. They were married 12 years and had two beautiful children Nicole and Jamie.

Fred worked as an Engineering Inspector for Broward County Construction and after leaving the county he worked for several construction companies in the Miami-Dade area. He was a distinguished Eagle Scout of Troop 74 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and later would go on to be an influential Scout leader for many youths. After formally retiring he spent most of his time fishing, camping, listening to his favorite bands, hanging out with friends, discussing politics, and helping his buddies out. He always knew how to work hard and play hard and care for those when he could.

Fred is survived by his two daughters Nicole age 26 and Jamie age 22, former wife Nancy, his mother Emmeline, his siblings Josefina, Lloyd, Dana, and numerous nieces and nephews and friends all over the country.

"Fred is going to be sadly missed by his friends that he and his girlfriend Parrie Hines so often socialized with. The individuals he was in company with was always laughing at something funny Fred would tell them. He was such a history story teller with his wealth of knowledge on several topics. Fred and Parrie was such a fun-loving and happy couple together for many years. Prayer is for her strength while she goes through this difficult time of losing as she would call Fred "The Love Of My Life". God's Blessings upon his family and condolences to all. "
