Donna M. Crow

Donna M. Crow, 97, of St. Charles died Tuesday evening, January 8, 2019 at Cottage Wood Senior Living in Rochester. Donna was born December 27,1921 in Elmira Township, Olmsted County to Ernest and Bessielgia (Kempe) Millard. Donna graduated from St. Charles High School. She then attended and graduated from Winona Teachers College and taught country school in Winona County. She and Harold Crow were married October 6, 1951 in Donna's family home in St. Charles. Donna and Harold farmed just north of town in St. Charles Township. In 1972 Donna and Harold moved their family in to St. Charles, where she was a member of the United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Donna was a sweet and loving mother, grandmother and wife, cherishing her role of caring for her family. She was an excellent cook, providing food for her family and hired hands.
Survivors include her two daughters, Carol Anderson and Nancy Crow both of Rochester, two grandchildren, Katie Anderson (Jeremy Hosterman) of Minneapolis and Brian (Amie) Anderson and their son, Theo of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, a sister-in-law Grace Good of Kewanee, IL and two nephews, Tom (Sue) Good of Galva, IL and Bill (Norma) Good of Kewanne, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold on July 8, 2015.
Services to remember Donna will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Hoff Funeral Service in St. Charles with the Reverend Heather E. Klason officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
