In loving memory of

Anne Jambor
March 30, 1927 - January 4, 2019

Anne Arleen Jambor, 91, of Kalispell MT died Friday January 4th, 2019. Annie passed away peacefully in Seattle, WA at the home of her daughter Annette and son-in-law Josh Trethewey.

Anne Arleen was born March 30, 1927, and was the youngest child of Jess & Laurena Angstman, of Havre, MT. As a young girl, Annie's family discovered that she had contracted tuberculosis of the bone, which required an extended hospital stay, in Great Falls MT. Several surgeries were able to stop the spread of the TB, but left Annie with multiple physical challenges which she faced with grace and humor. She spent a great deal of her childhood at the piano, teaching herself the waltzes that she loved hearing her mother play. Once back in school, she wrote a column for the school paper, called Annie Ambles; named for her ambling gate.

In June of 1949, Anne Arleen married Steve Jambor and later moved to Pasco, WA where their five children, Stephen, Philip, Douglas, Theresa and Annette were born. In 1969, the family moved to Kalispell, MT where Anne worked various jobs in the Flathead valley and eventually retired in 1992, after 15 years at the Medical Arts Laboratory, in Kalispell. As a member of St. Matthews Church she loved singing in the choir. She spent her retirement years as a volunteer with R.S.V.P in Kalispell, playing bridge and piano, singing along to her favorite Marty Robbins songs, reading books and watching her favorite movies "Dirty Dancing" and "Gladiator".

Left to honor and remember Mom and Grammie Annie are her children: Stephen (Nancy) Jambor of Port Townsend, WA, Philip M. Jambor of Kalispell, Annette (Josh) Trethewey of Seattle, WA, son-in-law Ken Williams of Whitefish, MT and her grandchildren: Christopher Jambor of Phoenix, AZ, Koben Williams (Katie Fletcher) of New York, Lenna Williams of Missoula, MT, Brooke Jambor (Colin Northcraft) of Corvallis, OR, Doug (Ashley) Jambor of Bellingham, WA, Dillon Trethewey and Lucas Trethewey of Seattle, WA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Anne Arleen was preceded in death by her husband, Steve, son Douglas P. Jambor, and daughter, Theresa Jambor Williams.

Above all else, Annie loved spending time with her children, grand-children, other family members and friends. Her sense of humor and wonderful laugh will be missed by all that knew her.
