Therese Yanick Saint Louis, age 60 of Davie, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL. She was born on October 15, 1958 in Port-de-Paix, Haiti, to Amaury L. Francois and Mary Marthe (Bernard) Francois. Therese was of the Catholic faith and a teacher's assistant in Broward County public schools.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Victor Hugo St. Louis; son David E. Saint Louis; daughter Sarah V. St. Louis, all of Davie, FL; mother Mary Marthe Francois; brothers Vladimir Francois and Alain Francois, both of Haiti; sisters Gessy M. Francois of North Miami, FL and Sandra Couseillant of Canada. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother Darly Francois.
The family will receive friends at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 2401 S. University Drive, Davie FL 33324, on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5:00 - 9:00p.m., including a prayer service from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Interment will take place at a later date in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
