"I met Marie three years ago and the first impression I had was what a sweet, gentle soul she was. Always smiling. A glow on her face when she spoke of her sons,or her love for Craig. Last year, we were able to spend a few days with them in Florida. We shared a lot of laughter, prayers and a few tears. But there was no doubt that she had put her total faith in the arms of God. She was a very beautiful, loving woman and a daughter of the Lord most high. We loved her dearly.

"We were blessed to know & grow to love our beautiful friend Marie. The cancer that infected her body is the very thing God used to create a bond between us. Her body grew tired but her spirit never weakened. She knew her soul was desiring to be released from the cancer that was weakening her body. So God in His wisdom planted a desire within her to go to her eternal home with Jesus. She now is In glory where there will be no more weeping & no more pain for our precious friend. We will miss her for now but look forward to that day when we will have an eternal friendship. We send our love to her kind & gracious family. Hayes & Vonda Stricker "
