Steven T. Geraghty, age 55, of Manahawkin died on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Jersey City, he lived there and in Aberdeen before moving to Manahawkin in 2002.
Prior to his retirement in 2014, Mr. Geraghty was a crane operator for PSE&G for many years. He enjoyed horse racing, and was a huge fan of sports, especially the Giants, Rangers, Knicks and Mets.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Sicilia; his parents, Roderick and Margaret Geraghty of Whiting; his brother, Roderick Geraghty, Jr. of Pocono Lakes, PA; his step-sons, Vincent Sicilia and his wife Ashley of Exton, PA, Anthony and his wife Vanessa of Manahawkin, Dominick and his wife Maryrose of Manahawkin, and Joseph and his fiancé Gina of Toms River; his grandchildren, Anthony, John and Adriana, and one on the way.
Viewing will be Monday, January 21, 2019 from 10:00am to 12 noon at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Cremation will be private.
