Cecil "Kevin" Edsill was born November 10, 1954 in McGregor, Iowa, the son of Floyd W. and Marvel L. (Voshel) Edsill. He was raised in rural La Porte City, Iowa. Kevin moved to the Waterloo area in 1976, and he was united in marriage to Katherine Hartman on December 26, 1978.
On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, Kevin passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Katherine; son, Lukas Edsill and his wife, Adriana; grandchildren: Maria, Jimmy, Braedyn, Jaxon and Emma; sister: Laurie De Groote, Sandy Mobley, Linda Albaugh, Carol Raber and Barbara Casper; brother, Troy Edsill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters: Laura and Amanda Ann Edsill; and his brother, Sam Edsill.
