John J. Marvin, age 87, of Berkeley Township died on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Community Medical Center, Toms River.
John was born in Brooklyn, NY. He was an Elder of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manchester.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce. He is survived by his son: John Marvin and his wife, Martha; his daughter: Valerie Marvin and her companion Bruce Stephens; and grandchildren: Camille and Carl Marvin.
Visitation will be 8:00 to 8:45 am on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2309 Route 70, Manchester with services beginning at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus at 12:30 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in John's memory to the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2309 Route 70, Manchester, NJ 08759.
