"I first knew Sharon while swimming at Pat Hasenbank?s pool. We would talk about chickens as she had ordered some from my family?s Webster City hatchery. She also introduced me to Louise Penny?s books which take place in Quebec. She knew I would love them being a French teacher at the time. Lastly, I would run into her at the Y working out as best she could. My condolences. Warm regards, Caroline Cueno Bybee"

"I am so sorry to hear of Sharon ?Rocky? passing. I was the last Earth Science graduate from Simpson in 1973. I had a few classes with Rocky and she was always so much fun and full of joy along with her love for rocks and the earth sciences. I wish I could remember some funny memory but I?m sure she told you about Doc Alberding who guided our experiences in our pursuit of a higher education. Just know she left a great impact on me and it was a joy to know her in those formulative years. Thinking of you and your family. John ?Art? Arthur "
