Angela S. (Dentler)Tate, age 44 of Des Moines, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. Burial will follow at Waveland Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the Jasper County Animal Rescue League and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Jerry Dentler and Diane Arnold, Angela was born on December 8, 1974 in Des Moines. She graduated from PCM High School in 1993. On February 14, 1998 she was united in marriage to Victor Tate. Angela enjoyed playing card games, board games going on walks and seeing wildlife and her cats.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband Victor; three sons, Trey Dentler, Victor Tate and Terrell Tate; her parents, Diane Arnold and Jerry Dentler; a brother, Jordan Dentler and many extended family and friends. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Robert and Iris Dentler and Dean Arnold.

"Angie was one of my bestfriends from kindergarten to graduation. I regret losing touch and so sad she's gone! So very hard to believe. When we were younger, I remember spending the night with her and dancing to New Kids on the Block video. She was a big part of my childhood and always a close friend. RIP my friend!"
