Francisco Bermudez

Francisco Bermudez, of Hollywood, Florida, formerly of Vineland, New Jersey passed away peacefully at Memorial Regional Hospital. He was 83 years of age.
Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on April 6, 1935, son of Fundador and Maria (Gonzalez) Bermudez. Raised and educated in Puerto Rico, Francisco came to the states in 1958. While in Puerto Ricco, Mr. Bermudez worked making eye glasses for a local optometrist. He also worked on farms. Before his retirement, he worked in the maintenance department for the New Jersey Board of Education, specifically at the D'Ipolito Elementary School for four years. Francisco enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.
Survived by his wife of 17 years, Ginette (Herrera) Bermudez, his first wife of 32 years and mother of his children Ana Amelia Bermudez Quintino, six children Nancy Vera, Nelson Bermudez, Frank Bermudez, Antonio Bermudez, Johnny Bermudez and Roberto Bermudez, five granddaughters, Jessica and Briana Vera, Amanda, Bianca and Erica Bermudez, three grandsons, Alex, Jordan and Gabriel David Bermudez. Also survived by nine great grandchildren.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, January 24th from 11:00 A.M. ~ 12:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street Hollywood. Funeral Service will begin at Twelve Noon at the funeral home with Pastor Hector Soto officiating.
Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
