"Tom and family, My prayers are with you at this time of loss. I knew Sandy as we were growing up and was a smiling young lady...all the guys liked her!!!!! But her brothers were a little bit ornery! I remember you two together in high school and always thought you were a great couple...marrying your high school sweetheart was a desire of a lot of us....but God has/had other plans for us oftentimes. You were very lucky to have had such a wonderful gal. At a celebration of life a few weeks ago, the pastor shared, ?Don?t be sad because they are gone, smile because they lived?. You and your family have my sympathies. May God Bless and be your strength and refuge at this time. Gene ?Cork? Battey"
