"Shirley, My prayers are with you at this time. Pat?s friendship goes back a long ways with me. Grade school basketball, hockey games and skating at old Eversmeyers Pond across the street from my grandfathers house and on into high school on the golf team. He tried so hard to make the team. I pray he?s on God Team now. Working with him (and yourself) at KENTS was quite an adventure. He was quite a guy! You have my heartfelt sympathies at this time. I?ve always thought of you as very strong person, in your own silent way. You were and continue be be one of ?those little angels? in my life. Thoughts of you come thru my head often, wondering how you two are doing ?back home?. My thoughts and prayers will be with you always. Miss those hugs. Be safe and God will carry you thru. Phil.4:6-7....my favorite verse...may it bring you comfort, with love and prayers. In Gods Love, ?Cork? Battey "

"Shirley, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was just thinking of you and Pat today and wondering how things were going. Thought about calling and remembered I didn't have your number. I know you will treasure your memories just as I treasure mine. Keep active and don't fade away from life. I love you. Please take good care of yourself. My sympathy to the rest of the family also. "I am so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. He was a good friend for many years, even back to childhood. I am sure he will be missed by many, myself included. I wish I could be there to celebrate Pat's life with so many old friends. But I don't travel much myself anymore. May God bless his soul and his loving friends and family. Joe Beckey"
