MUSCATINE, Iowa - Michael S. Spaulding, 64, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at his home.

Michael was born on November 1, 1954, in Muscatine, the son of Leroy and Barbara Severs Spaulding.
He retired from HON. Michael enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, and boating with his father and was an avid Hawkeye fan.
Those left to honor his memory include his father, Leroy of Muscatine; his sister, Sharon Herlien and husband, Randy, of North Liberty, and their children, Abby Herlien of Denver, Colorado, and Jay Herlien of Iowa city; two uncles, Larry Spaulding and wife, Sally, of Des Moines, and Robert Spaulding and wife, JoAnn, of Muscatine; and three Aunts, Hellen Funk of Davenport, Mary Dwyer of Muscatine, and Judy Rogers of Dallas, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara in 2011.
