Cheryl B. Bowe
January 12, 1965 - January 24, 2019

Cheryl B. Bowe (Haag) 54, of Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born on January 12, 1965 in Rochester to George and Rita (Mueller) Haag. After graduating from Lewiston High School in 1984 she worked at Hubbard Turkey Plant in Altura until they closed. She then went to Riverside Electronics in Lewiston until she found her true passion as a certified nursing assistant. Cheryl worked for St. Annes Extended Healthcare for 8 years and loved each of the residents. She married Jay Bowe on October 9, 1999. Together they have 2 children Megan and Isaac. Cheryl enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing volleyball, softball and cards, drawing, campfires, walking her dog, Daisy, reading, doing puzzles and most importantly spending time with her family and friends. She loved her family and did anything for her kids- they affectionately call her "Super Mom". She was a compassionate, loving person, who will be remembered for her unselfish nature, kind heart, thoughtfulness and of course her smile that radiated thru her eyes. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Jay; children, Megan and Isaac; parents, George and Rita Haag of Lewiston; siblings, Nick (Alice) Haag of Lewiston, Karen (Chuck) Ramin of Goodview, Dale (Becky Henry) Haag of Dover, Diane (Keith) Shones of Millville, Roy (Shelley) Haag of Chatfield, Roger (Brenda) Haag of Utica, Curt (Jodi) Haag of Lewiston, Gail (Scott) Fitzgerald of Houston, Glen (Tammy) Haag of Lewiston, Peter (Stacey) Haag of St. Charles, Paula (Shane) Matzke of Reads Landing, Tessa (John) Fritts of Winona and Terri (Trevor) Prigge of Winona; Stepson, Eric and Stepdaughter, Stephanie, 43 nieces and nephews, 31 great-nieces and great-nephews; and dog, Daisy, who was special to her.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Haag; an infant sister, Nancy; an infant brother; nephew, Owen Fitzgerald; and her beloved dog Holmes.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Lewiston, with Father Glenn Frerichs officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Thursday at the church and one hour prior to Mass on Friday.
