Rose Marie Griswold
December 1, 1946 - February 3, 2019

Rose Marie Griswold, 72, of Biggsville, IL, died 8:44 a.m., Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Great River Medical Center ICU.
Born December 1, 1946 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Albert D. and Mary Catherine (Uffelman) Mehaffy.
Rose was employed at the Basket Factory and later Vista Bakery for 9 years, retiring in 2003.
She was known to be ornery and fun loving. She had many hobbies including mushrooming, gardening, puzzles, canning, working in her flower beds and candy.
Survivors include seven children, Timothy A. Leeper of Biggsville, IL, Yvonne Griswold of Corona, CA, Jackie Griswold of KY, Kambra D. Ware of FL, Brandon A. Ware of Biggsville, IL, Bruce A. Ware of Burlington, IA and Raymond L. Ware of KY; fourteen grandchildren; a brother, Rick Mehaffy of Burlington; and two sisters, Barbara Helsel of Arvada, CO and Vicki Burnett of Littleton, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
The graveside service for Ms. Griswold will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 8th at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
