MUSCATINE, Iowa - Michael Glenn Paul, 67, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at home.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Dan Schoepf will officiate. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:30 am until 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Michael was born on June 25, 1951, in Muscatine, the son of Glenn W. and Shirley J. Thompson Paul. He married Kathy Mae Fuhlman on January 12, 1979, in Muscatine.

He worked in retail management at Wal-Mart before he retired. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Pekin, Illinois, Muscatine Moose Lodge No. 388 where he held a Fellowship Degree.

He attended in University of Iowa and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and St. Louis Cardinal fan. He enjoyed science fiction movies and loved to cook and go mushroom hunting in the spring.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Kathy Paul of Muscatine; two sons, Trevor Lee Fuhlman and Andrew Scott Paul, both of Muscatine; four granddaughters; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; one brother, James Paul and wife, Darlene, of Muscatine; and one sister, Sandra K. Kaska and husband, Dwight, of Muscatine.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one niece, Kathryn Ann Gremmels; and two aunts, Lucile Reinsager and Jeanne Barry.
