In loving memory of

Joyce Ann Lindloff
March 5, 1956 - February 5, 2019

Joyce Ann Lindloff, 62, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. She was born March 5, 1956, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Guy O. and Pauline (Brandhorst) Cameron.

Joyce attended schools in Waverly and graduated with the class of 1974. She furthered her education at North Iowa Area Community College and the University of Northern Iowa. Joyce was united in marriage on October 9, 1999, to Ivan E. Lindloff at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton.

Joyce was employed at Lutheran Services of Iowa as a social worker. She also worked at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton, Access Inc, and a Cedar Falls nursing home - all places where she cared for people.

Joyce enjoyed children and was fondly referred to as 'Aunt Joycee' by many youth. She taught Sunday school, the AWANA kids club, and loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Her leisure pursuits were camping, her three cats, and watching television - NCIS, cooking shows, and game shows like "Wheel of Fortune." Joyce always loved to tease people. One thing she always said to Ivan was "Mom always liked you better!"

Her favorite color was purple, a symbol of nobility. Joyce exemplified a noble life; she was honest, upright, and unselfish.

Joyce is survived by her husband Ivan E. Lindloff of Hampton, father Guy (Shirley) Cameron of Holton, Kansas, brother Rex (Cindy) Cameron of Holton, Kansas, niece Jayme Benjamin of Holton, Kansas, nephew Geremy (Alicia) Cameron of Wichita, Kansas, great nieces and nephews Whitney and Jaimon Benjamin and Brooklyn and Peyton Cameron, along with her three cats Smokey, Shadow and Callie-Sue.

She was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Cameron, three uncles and three aunts.
