In loving memory of

Link Miner

Our ragdoll cat, Link Miner, transitioned peacefully from his earthly life on February 02, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois surrounded by his family. Link was 18 years old and lived a long, happy, and very loved life.
He was born in February of 2001 in St. Louis, Missouri. When Link was 6 weeks old, he was adopted by Blake Miner on April, 2001. Link lived in Manchester, Missouri from 2001 to 2014 with Blake and the Miner Family. In July, 2014 Link moved with Blake to Chicago, Illinois. The two were inseparable throughout Link's life. Link was a loving and loyal pet that delivered unwavering affection and support. He was always Blake's rock.
Link enjoyed being a faithful, loving pet to Blake and he was very accepting of everyone's love. His favorite spot to relax was always on Blake's bed. Often, he would lay down and rollover on his back to have his tummy rubbed, which is characteristic of ragdoll cats. He enjoyed food so much that he earned the nickname of "Mr. Pigglesworth". He would sit up on his hind legs and beg for a special treat by giving a salute with his front paw. Now it is our time to honor Link with a salute! Here is to you, Link, we love you!
Link is survived by his owner and life companion, Blake Miner of Chicago, Illinois; his family: Terry and Deana Miner of Manchester, Missouri and Clark Miner of Independence, Missouri. Link will forever be loved and remembered by his family.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Marie Bauer of Manchester, Missouri, longtime family friend, neighbor, and vet; Blum Animal Hospital of Chicago, Illinois along with Dr. Melissa Cresswell and Dr. Harathi Krishnan.
Link Miner's memorial service will be held at a later date with his family.
