Gayle Koszarek
June 22, 1947 - February 8, 2019

Gayle Koszarek, of Antigo, died Friday, February 8, 2019, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was 71 years old. She was born on June 22, 1947, in Antigo, a daughter of the late Jerome and Marie (Ladwig) Stern.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1965. Gayle was a certified nursing assistant working in home health care for over 23 years. She was also employed at Stern Electronics, a family business, for 10 years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family.

Survivors include five children, Michelle (James) Wanca of Antigo, William Bailey of Antigo, Wendy (Keith) Gregory of Wausau, Kim (Richard) Hurlbert of Antigo and Amy Koszarek of Antigo; 14 grandchildren, Brandon (Ashley) Wanca of Antigo, Ryan (Ashley) Wanca of Minocqua, Logan Wanca of Madison, Briannah Wanca of Antigo, Nathan Bailey of Antigo, Beth Bailey of Appleton, Matthew Spencer of Mosinee, Zoey Gregory of Wausau, Ava Gregory of Wausau, Kennedy Siegman of Las Vegas, Kale Siegman of Phoenix, AZ, Edan Hurlbert of Antigo, Reed Hurlbert of Antigo, Cierra Hurlbert of Menomonie; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Patricia) Stern of Pelican Lake and William (Victoria) Stern of Jacksonville, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Stern.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019, at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. A parish wake service will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
