"Dear Sue & family, My heart just aches for all of you. I was so saddened to hear this news. I know how unreal it feels, to lose someone so close so unexpectedly and way too soon. Papa sure knew how to keep us all in line when we were teenagers and needed the reminder. But that big ol bear turned into a mushy softy when all these little ones of ours started arriving on the scene, didn't he?! Jordan was the first he oh-so-spoiled, but his love and laughter just filled the room for every lil peanut that came after! They all knew they were loved, truly! I wanted to, but my work won't let me leave today, but my mom and dad are coming to be there. Sending my love and most sincere condolences, Tara"

"Sue - I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Steven's passing. Even though I've only known you and Steve for a little less than 2 years, I feel like I've known you a lot longer. I'll never forget how kind and friendly Steve was, and always asking how I was doing. I'll always remember him running the Bingo games and the time a bunch of us argued with him that he had called a letter/number and he insisted he hadn't, until he realized he put the ball in the wrong spot! We all had a good laugh over that one. Steve was always right there with a willing hand - driving the wagon, showing people to their campsites, helping out where ever he could. I know how much Steve will be missed by his Pineland Camping Park family - it won't be the same without him. R.I.P. Steve - you will be missed!"
