"Sorry I'm getting to this so late..... just discovered this fine man passed. First middle class 'Gentleman' I knew in my blue collar childhood. Nick was the first man I knew who made his livelihood wearing a jacket and tie, carrying the bag for John Hancock and making it look good! First man I ever saw cooking w/an apron who wasn't standing in front of a BBQ grill... he made giving a diner party cool and highly appetizing, first wrapped water chestnut in bacon treasure I was bestowed got by Sir Nick, opened a whole new level of cuisine/life style to a blue collar kid. Only father who I ever knew who played a mean trumpet and taught me about the Big Bands and who Ish Kabibble was! Tho he was tough on his son 'Robert' never Bob or Cap, in the end he showed me that 'discipline ' and 'loving' could compliment each other quite comfortably. In the end one of my fondest memories of 'Nicky Red' was getting a drink @ CARBONES w/my then partner Jack Fel ice (son of a long time friend of Nick) while walking down small town memory lane of Harrison lore. Lastly, best gift Nick could ever give Cap, Sam and Tom (et al) was just living to a great old age ....bet he was sage, witty and upbeat till the end! PS: a girlfriend....really..;) Rest in Peace Mr Nicholas S. Cappuccino "
