Christopher Stevens, 55, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019. Born in Toms River, Chris was raised in Bayville and resided in Brick before moving to Toms River.
Chris was a Produce Clerk for Grand Union until it was bought out by Stop and Shop, where he has worked for the past 19 years. He was an avid sports fan and a huge sports memorabilia collector.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 22 years, Marie Kulberda Stevens. He is also survived by his parents, Arthur and Virginia Stevens and his 2 sisters Cindy (Ray) Risden and Betsy (Allen) Verge. Chris was also the loving Uncle to his Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews . He will be missed by his pets Jasmine, Oreo and Squeakers .
The visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2019, from 4-8 PM with a service at 7:15 PM at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Service, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, New Jersey
It would be Chris' wish that everyone attending wear casual clothes and particularly Sports Jerseys.
