Judy Ort, 76, of Fort Dodge passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Laufersweiler- Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home.
Judy is survived by her children; Tony Hutchinson; Michelle (Aaron) Wieberg both of Des Moines; Christina Abrams; James (Jennie) Ort both of Fort Dodge; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Ardis Lewis of Fort Dodge and Gene Billings of Grand Rapids, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Gladys (Scott) Billings; siblings, Ann Nolta; Connie Clark; and Jerry Billings.
Judy Dianna Billings was born September 24, 1942 in Lehigh. As a young girl, Judy moved with her family to Moorland, where she attended schools. Judy was first married to Jack Hutchinson, then John Abrams and later Virgil Ort Sr. She made Fort Dodge her home in her adult life, working at Bush Hog, O'Connel Drug and Ackerman Drug. Nicknamed "Cold Coffee", Judy loved to dance, garden and family genealogy. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
