ELIZA, Illinois - Patricia J. McKay, 85, of Eliza, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Tom Wright will officiate. Burial will take place in Eliza Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 until 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Eliza Ladies Aide. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com
Pat was born on September 22, 1933, in Muscatine, the daughter of Claude and Doris Miller Harder. She married Robert W. McKay on July 20, 1952 at Buffalo Prairie Church. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2014.
She was a 1951 graduate of Reynolds High School and worked at Carver Pump Company after graduation. Pat sold Avon for many years and was a substitute cook at Rockridge. She was a member of the Eliza Community Church and Eliza Ladies Aide.
Those left to honor her memory include her three sons, Dwayne McKay and wife, Lorie, of Eliza, Daniel McKay and wife, Barb, of Edgington, and Douglas McKay and wife, Linda, of Milan; eight grandchildren, Amanda Williamson and husband, Michael, of Effingham, Mathew McKay and wife, Jen, of Milan, Jeff McKay and wife, Carrie, of Eliza, Brandon McKay and wife, Hiliary, of Reynolds, Rob McKay and wife, Lindsay, of Eliza, Allison McKay of Moline, Nathan McKay and wife, Sarah, of Edgington, and Ashley Ravenscraft and husband, Shawn, of Muscatine, Iowa; ten great grandchildren, Evan, Savannah, Owen, Luke, Lexie, Korbin, Bryn, Camden, Blakely, and Emma.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Doris Harden; her husband, Robert McKay; and grandparents.
