Donald Gene Weinberger, 66, of Coulter, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. He was born March 27, 1952, in Britt, Iowa, to Glen and Avanel (Sorbo) Weinberger.
Donald was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. He attended CAL Community Schools in Latimer. Donald was a lifelong resident of Coulter. He mowed lawns for others in the community.
He was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan. Donald enjoyed attending Hawkeye football games and watching them on TV. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Flash.
Donald is survived by his brother David (Cindy) Weinberger of Bettendorf, sister Sandra (Bruce) Keehn of Waukee, sister Linda (Jeff) Stoddard of Alborn, Minnesota, along with many nieces, nephews and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Avanel.
