Glen Thicke
October 14, 1943 - March 3, 2019

Glen E. Thicke, 75, of Winona, died Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus. He was born on October 14, 1943 to Ben and Florence (Platteter) Thicke. He is survived by his wife, Bernadette (Pettersen); children, Troy (Jennifer) Thicke, Brian (Deana) Thicke, Chianne Thicke; grandchildren, Jez, Sam, Peyton, Christian, and Kylie; brothers, Bud (Teresa) and Dave; and sisters Marlene (Wally) Viestenz, Mary York and Diane Gerken. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2019 at St. Casimir Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark McNea officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview, and one hour prior to Mass at the church. Military honors will be rendered by the American Legion Leon J. Wetzel Post #9 following Mass. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery. Please leave a memory of Glen and view his video tribute when it becomes available at www.hofffuneral.com. When I would return to Winona for the Ben & Adith Miller Golf Classic and the Morrie Miller Athletic Foundation Banquet with celebrity guests, Glen was our driver. I always enjoyed reconnecting and reminiscing with him. He was gentle soul and I'll miss those conversations when I visit Winona again. My warmest wishes to his family."
