Louise Duscio
March 6, 1931 - March 6, 2019

Louise Duscio, age 88, of the Whiting section of Manchester Township died on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at home. Born in Manhattan, New York, she lived there until moving to Jackson in 1970. She settled in Whiting in 2016.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Duscio was a seamstress for many years, and enjoyed reading books and the Asbury Park Press. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Aloysius RC Church, Jackson, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.
Mrs. Duscio was predeceased by her husband, Rosario Salvatore Duscio, in 2015, her siblings, Anna Schiro, Frank Ferigne, Clara Mastrandrea, and Joseph Ferigne and by her brother-in-law, Iganatus Thomas Duscio. She is survived by her children, John Duscio and his wife Kathleen of South Carolina, Joann Chisari and her husband Daniel of Manchester, and Theresa Flynn and her husband Joseph of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Anna Rose, Jessica, Frank, Danielle, Kathleen, Ben, and Emily; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Nancy DelPrete and Marie Frangipane; her sister-in-law, Rosalie Batista and her husband Anthony; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were private under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Contributions in Mrs. Duscio's memory can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital at www.StJude.org

"I am at peace with her passing as I know she was in grave pain. My visit two weeks ago was nothing short of a miracle. She was Happy and had a great day. I would have never thought it would be our last. She will be very much missed and always be loved. I am so grateful for having her in my life.
