Patrick Lee Penrose , age 65 , of Macomb, IL, formerly of Quincy, died Sunday, December 2, 2018, at 7:47 pm in St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Patrick was born July 19, 1953 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Robert and Nancy Little Penrose. He married Margaret A. Espey on November 27, 1982 in Quincy. She preceded him in death on April 22, 2009.
Patrick was a 1972 graduate of Quincy High School and had recently been attending WIU in Macomb. He previously worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He owned and operated Penrose Uniforms and later Tropical Tan in Quincy. Patrick was living in Macomb, IL, where he attended Classes and worked at Wal-Mart. He was a railroad enthusiast with many models in his collection.
Survivors include: two children, Oliver Penrose of Shawnee Mission, KS, and Mary Elizabeth (Andrew) Michalek of Chicago, IL; his mother, Nancy Penrose; and a sister, Carol (Mark) Corrigan, both of Mendon, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Patrick was preceded in death by his father.
