"Dear John, Allan, Janet, and Carol, Our thoughts and spirits are with you and your families today as you celebrate the many blessings received by all of us through your mother's life. We treasure the beautiful picture card which you sent to let us know of her death. Her picture speaks of the life she lived and shared with others so beautifully. Whenever I remember our times together my mind pictures her tall, graceful stature and her beautiful face with a smile that radiated happiness and love and excitement for life. The memories of times in Sheboygan include clergy family gatherings on Friday nights, celebration of our youngest daughter's birth when she and Ed surprised us with a visit and the precious gift of a hand-crafted Raggedy Ann doll, along with sharing rides and discussions during travel for association meetings. Later we were grateful to visit her from Iowa while she was in Madison and admired that her smile and happy, generous spirit and her love of life continued even while navigating from a wheel chair. The story of her life as shared in her obituary shows her depth of knowledge and dedication to others. God will bless you all as you honor her life and spirit. In loving care and gratitude, Marilyn Hamilton Davenport, Iowa"

"Dear Janet, I remember your mother with great fondness. She was a wonderful and caring member of the staff at Miniwanca and when we were all full of 17 and 18 yr old goodness and kindly mischief --she was there to listen, soothe and counsel. Her good humor and patience was just what we all needed. And notably, I think she was part of the inaugural 'nose flute' music group! What a thoughtful and kind person. It's been more than 30 years since I've seen her---and can only imagine the numbers of lives she has touched and made better. Condolences to you and your entire family. Amy Campbell"

" Dear Beatty Family: I became acquainted with Doris(I think I called her "Dory") in Omaha, NE when she was with the Girl Scout Association. Then in l946 she was able for me to be a counsellor at the Girl Scout Camp Alice Chester near East Troy, WI. We kept in contact through Christmas Cards all these years. Dory was, to me, a "Christian Angel with a magic wand" always inspiring and encouraging this teen-ager - a much better person for having been touched by her friendship. Memories remain. I wish , now, I had kept all her Christmas cards to remember how she "introduced" me to all of you. Thank you for the picture card and information of her passing into God's Hands. God's Blessing to you all. Phil "

Rev. Dr. E. Vincent Stratton wrote on Jul 29, 2010:

"Dear Family of Doris Caroline Angermeyer Beatty, We thank God for Doris and all of you her family. She glorified the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ in the witness of the Holy Spirit with a long and distinguished career. She was wonderful to share her love with all of you. We have been delighted that she kept in touch with all of us her classmates. Thank you for writing to us of her resurrection to eternal life. Glory to God in the Highest. May God bless all of you and comfort you as you participate in the last tender offices of faith, hope and love and as you continue to serve the Lord. With Love, Vin Stratton, '50, one of her classmates"

"Dear Cousins, I got an email from Carol Duncan Jacobsen about your mom's passing. I am so sorry to hear of this and send my deepest sympathies to you in the loss of your mother. I have nothing but good memories of her kindness and goodness. I will pass this information along to my mother, Molly. She was so very fond of your dad and your mom. Those Beatty boys, David Duncan and the Cockerill girls had a great time being cousins together in the country. Mom is still living alone (but with a lot of support) on the farm in Springfield. Love, Geegee (and Family) "
