Rose E. Elliott, 78, 720 Sycamore, Quincy, (formerly of 2511 Dennis Drive) died Wednesday, February 9, 2000 at 8:50pm in the Brighton Pavilion.
She was born September 25, 1921 in Carterville, Illinois, the daughter of Omer and Marie Brann Burgess.
She received her Associate of Arts Degree from Lincoln Land College in Springfield, IL, and she was a volunteer in the Quincy community.
Survivors include a daughter, Karon Evans and her husband Jim, Columbus, IL; 2 grandchildren, Peggy Olexa, Atlanta, Georgia, and Kimberly Beth Conte, Chicago, IL; 3 great grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, and Joshua Olexa, Atlanta, GA; 2 sisters, Betty Linck, Peoria, IL; and Joanne Hunter, Herrin, IL, her former husband William Elliott, Chicago, and a special friend Carl Emerick, Quincy.
She also was preceded in death by Parents and a sister Wilma June Hunter
Memorial Services will be Saturday, February 12, 2000 at 1:30pm in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Al Wickman officiating.
