Esther P Graf, 87, 2130 Harrison, Quincy, formerly of 505 No. 29th died Sunday, July 2, 2000 at 10:35 am in the Good Samaritan Home.
She was born November 17, 1912 in Bowbells, North Dakota, the daughter of Jess and Trina Petersen Jessen.
On June 26, 1937 she married John Herman Graf in Fon du Lac, WI. He preceded her in death on November 10, 1997.
She and her late husband John moved to Quincy in 1973 from Phoenix, Arizona, and she was a member of the Apostolic Holiness Church in Hannibal, MO.
Survivors include a 2 daughters, Elizabeth Kathryn Martens and her husband Rev. Leonard, Lincoln, Nebraska; Mrs. Dale (Esther Joanne) Coffin, Hampden, Maine; 1 sister, Miss Charlotte Jessen, Quincy; 7 grandchildren, Rev. Daniel Mitchell, Alice Lange, Joyce Mansur, Kathy Davis, Darryl Coffin, Kevin Coffin, and Tammy Hayes; son-in-law, Rev. Charles Mitchell.She also was preceded in death by her daughter Leona Jean Mitchell, one grandson, 2 brothers and one sister.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Wednesday, July 5, at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Rev. Roger Grohman and Rev. Charles Mitchell officiating. Burial in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois. The family will receive friends from 9-11am Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Apostolic Holiness Church Building Fund.
