Bob R. Threet, age 81, of 2500 Rocky Run Rd., Quincy, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at 8:50 a.m. in Blessing Hospital.
He was born March 9, 1929 in Harrisburg, Illinois, the son of Milas and Sarah Elizabeth Johnson Threet. On December 5, 1955 he married Barbara M. Horn in El Dorado, IL. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Gina Bailie of Quincy; a son, Rod Threet and his wife Chell of Quincy; six grandchildren, Jodie Pierce of Quincy, Michael Threet and his wife Carrie of Springfield, MO, Amber Lefringhouse and her husband Benny of Liberty, Loren Wade of Grafton, WI, Casey Austin and her husband Jason of Quincy, and Jessica Threet of Kinderhook; and eight great-grandchildren, Mack and Maddie Pierce, Taylor Springer, Jasmine Austin, Michael Threet Jr., Jayden Austin, Kalen Wade and Gemma Bradshaw.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Robert A. Threet, two brothers Bill Threet and Ralph Hafford, and a sister Wanda Pavalonis.
Graveside Services: Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in Greenmount Cemetery.
