Danny Paul Renard, age 63 of 1703 N. 24th Street, Quincy, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in Quincy.
He was born January 2, 1947 in Granite City, Illinois the son of Paul and Mary Barnes Renard. On August 15, 1987 he married Kim Kramer in Keokuk, Iowa.
Danny was a 1965 graduate of Quincy Senior High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 10 years and completed two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was employeed at Traeder's TNT in Golf Cart Sales in Florida for 20 years. After his retirement in 2008, he returned to Quincy.
Danny was a member of The Crossing. He enjoyed boating, fishing, motorcycles and racing. Danny liked to spend time with his friends, family and grandchildren.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a sister, Joyce Dixon of Omaha, NE; a brother, Keith Renard and wife Chris of Quincy; five children, Michelle Burroughs and husband Steve of Davenport, IA, Melissa Renard of Davenport, Lori Johnson and husband Jamie of Quincy, Mark Reinebach and wife Sarah of Old Monroe, MO, and Megan Leenerts and husband James of Quincy; 11 grandchildren, Amber and Ciara Burroughs, Blake and Brendon Johnson, Grace, Isabel and Sophie Reinebach, Karly, Kally, Kasey and Kamry Leenerts; and three nephews, Dale Dixon III and wife Billie, Boomer Renard, and Jason Renard and wife Shelley.
He preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Harry Dixon II.
Memorial Service: Sunday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Josh Finklea officiating. Full Military Rites by Payson VFW Post 2061.
There will be no visitation but friends are invited to the service.
