Betty Bridgeman

Betty J. Bridgeman, age 79, of 2835 College, died on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 1:45 pm in Blessing Hosptial.

Betty was born January 9, 1933 in Ewing, Missouri, the daughter of Eugene and Rosalia Turner Sedelmeier.  She married Paul Bridgeman on April 24, 1954 in Quincy. He survives.

Betty was a 1952 graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School. After graduation she worked at Motorola. Betty was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing.

In addition to her husband, survivors include: three sons: Mark (Robin) Bridgeman of Knoxville, TN; Todd (Jessica) Bridgeman of Ft. Smith, AR; and Kevin (Karen) Bridgeman of Quincy; a daughter, Lori Brammer of Palmetto, FL: nine grandchildren: Angela (Dave) Rigsby, John Paul (Diana) Bridgeman, Jared (Brooke) Bridgeman, Jordan and Justen Bridgeman, Kameron (Megan) Bridgeman, Katelea Bridgeman, Ashley Brammer, and Brittany Brammer; three great-grandchildren: Rebekah Rigsby, Nolan Bridgeman, and Charly Bridgeman; a sister, Martha Schwartz of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, William Sedelmeier, and a sister, Helen Szarka.

Graveside Services:  Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Donald Knuffman officiating.

Visitation:  Monday, July 16, 2012 from 4-6 p.m. with prayers at 6 p.m. with Rev. Tom Hagstrom in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.

Memorials: St. Anthony Church or St. Dominic School
