Rebecca L. "Becky" Humke, age 54, of 2535 W. Valley View Rd., died Saturday, January 12, 2013, in her home.
Becky was born January 7, 1959 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Delbert E. and Lois Jean Stockton Humke.
Becky worked for many years at the Quincy Herald-Whig as a paper carrier before moving to the mail room. She enjoyed roller skating and she loved Elvis. Becky was a very outgoing person. She made a lasting impact upon all whom she met.
Survivors include: a son, Rocky (Jessica) Humke of Quincy; a daughter, Geri Verducci of Quincy; three sisters, Barb (David) Uppinghouse of Quincy, Sandy (Brian) Foose of Tempe, AZ, and Leanne (Steve) Fielding of Quincy; a brother, Alan (Linda) Humke of Quincy; seven nephews and a niece: Jon Uppinghouse; Dustin and Jason Foose; Stevie Jr., Krista, and Shawn Fielding; and Jeremiah and Josh Humke; great nieces and great nephews; and an uncle, Kent (Jan) Stockton of Quincy.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Susan Dell.
Services: A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Visitation: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday January 17, 2013 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
