Charles Dale "Chuck" Foster, age 46, of Quincy, IL, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at 3:36 pm in Blessing Hospital.
Charles was born January 5, 1967 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Herbert Lester and Ruthie Pearl Smith Foster. He married Jennifer Brunenn on September 11, 1993 in Quincy, Illinois. She survives.
Chuck was raised in the Baptist faith. He was a 1985 graduate of Quincy High School. He was employed for 25 years at Titan Wheel Corporation. Chuck was a member of the Rocky Point Club.
Chuck had a great sense of humor. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He enjoyed golfing, camping and loved spending "special Papa" time with his granddaughters.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Jennifer, include a son, Casey (Jessica) Brunenn of Quincy; two granddaughters, Ryleigh Ann and Ellie Gene Brunenn, both of Quincy; his parents, Herb and Ruthie Foster, his father- and mother-in-law, Dennis and Elaine Brunenn of Quincy; four brothers, Jim (Sandy) Foster, Wayne (Cleo Lamb) Foster, Donnie (Cindy) Foster, and Jeff (Debbie) Foster, all of Quincy; a brother-in-law, Marty Beck of Mendon, IL; a sister-in-law, Denise Buckner of Quincy; aunts and uncles; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins; and his friends that were as close as brothers.
Chuck was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister, Terri Beck.
Celebration of Life: 11:00 am Saturday (March 9, 2013) in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Hess officiating.
Inurnment: New Providence Cemetery, Ursa, Illinois
Visitation: 9:00 to 11:00 am Saturday (March 9, 2013) at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
