Patricia Ann Hufendick, age 73, 721 So. 22nd, Quincy, died Saturday, December 15, 2001 at 10:20 p.m. at Blessing Hospital.
She was born July 27, 1928 in Port Huron, Michigan, the daughter of Leroy McKee and Blanche Cadieux McKee. On April 6, 1950, she married Chandos R. Hufendick in Quincy, Illinois. He survives.
Mrs. Hufendick was a member of the Catholic faith. She had formerly been active with antiques and crafts and was an avid lover of animals, particularly dogs.
Survivors in addition to her husband are a sister, Renee Worthington, Quincy; 3 nieces, Shelley Wiemelt and her husband Gary, LaGrange, MO; Anna Lee Fuqua, Quincy, and Mary Lee Frericks, Quincy; 2 nephews, Charles Bergland, Bowling Green, KY and Chandos Bergland, Colorado City, CO; a sister-in-law, LaVonne Hemphill and her husband Willard, Quincy and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by by her parents, a brother Leroy McKee, Jr. and a sister Gloria Steinway
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10:30 A.M. in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. John Kennedy officiating. Burial in New Providence Cemetery in Ursa, Illinois. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Adams County Humane Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
