Ruthann "Kelley" Gagnon, age 79, of Quincy died Wednesday, October 22, 2003 in Peachtree City, GA.
She was born March 25, 1924 in McComb, Ohio, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Kelley. On November 27,1950, she married Edward S. Gagnon in Findlay, Ohio. He preceded her in death on April 8, 1995.
She graduated from St. Francis Academy in Tiffin, Ohio, and she received a degree in nursing from St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing in Toledo, Ohio. Later she was a stewardess for the Pan American Airways on the New York to South America run. She was the past president of the St. Mary Hospital Guild, a member of the Artist Guild and the Quincy Art Center, and a former member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Michael L. Gagnon, Orlando, FL; Gregory J. Gagnon and his wife Karen, Osage Beach, MO; 2 daughters, Karen Weiss and her husband Bruce, Melbourne, FL and Patricia Mock and her husband Ric, Peachtree City, GA; a brother, Richard Kelley of Kansas City, MO; a sister, Sara Kelley of Findlay, OH; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 27, 2003 at 9:30 am in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home and at 10:00 am in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Rev. Roy Bauer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4-7 pm at the funeral home with a Wake Service at 6:30 pm. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Quincy Art Center.
