"CPT Bronkema and I want to leave our condolences to Calvin's family. We were his Company Commander and 1SG in until Aug 13, at Ft. Riley. It was an honor and a privilege to serve with him. His devotion to the Black Dragons and his peers was second to none. I will never forget him, as he was someone whose personality was infectious. He made me laugh almost on a daily basis. He is missed."
"I was saddened to hear of Calvin's passing. He was a very kind and thoughtful young man, whom I had the pleasure of knowing, through TPS. I taught History and Government and always remember him and Cory Koehler coming into class, usually late, but none the less, showing up.
