Betty French, age 64, of 305 Elm, Quincy, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 9:07 am in Blessing Hospital.
She was born November 15, 1941 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Harry and Beulah Briscoe Fierge. On Ocotber 12, 1963 she married John French in Quincy. He survives.
She loved to collect pigs and to visit with her family.
Survivors also include five children, Johnny French and his wife Penny; Lisa Reed and her husband Kevin; Brenda French and her boyfriend Bruce Bias; Judy Flesner and her husband Sterling; Patty Starman and her husband Shane, all of Quincy; seven grandchildren, Kristena and Adam Reed; Ashley French, Kari and Kody Flesner, Tyler and Andrea Starman, all of Quincy, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Wanda and Marie Fierge.
Services will be Saturday at 10:00 am in the Hansen Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
