Erma L. Shouse, age 90, of # 1 Perryman, Lebanon, IL and formerly of Quincy died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at 10:05 pm in Cedar Ridge Health Care Center, Lebanon, Illinois.
She was a 1933 QHS graduate. She was employed by the International Shoe Factory and then Motorola for 25 years retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Burton Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Robert E. Rockwell and his wife Donna, Belleville, IL; two grandchildren, Susan L. Joergensen, Belleville, IL; Janet K. (Wayne) Kniepkamp, Millstadt, IL; 5 great-grandchildren, Teri (Kevin) Foster, Freeburg, IL; Robert Joergensen, Belleville, IL; Amanda (Michael) Groom, Belleville, IL; Katie Kniepkamp and Michael Kniepkamp, Millstadt, IL; one great great grandchild, Tyler Groom, Belleville, IL; several great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Harry and Ray Rockwell.
Services will be Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 10:30 am in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Bakker officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 am - 10:30 am. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or to Unity Hospice.
