Carla L. Clifford, age 44, 1711 Spring, Apt. #2, Quincy, died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 8:40 a.m. in her home.
She was born September 3, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Carl and Lucille Young Clifford.
Carla was of the Christian faith. She worked at Transitions and volunteered at the Good Samaritan Home. For many years she lived with and cared for her grandmother, Myrtle Young, whom she dearly loved.
Survivors include a daughter, Melanie of FL; two half-brothers: Christopher Fusco and his wife, Emily, of Maywood, MO; and Ambrose "Andy" Fusco of Austin, TX; two half-sisters: Paula Jackson of St. Louis, MO; and Louise Leckbee of Quincy; nieces and nephews: Lori, Candi, and Donnie; and other relatives: Luca and Betty Fusco of Camp Point, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother Myrtle Young and, a half-brother Gennaro "Jerry" Fusco.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Disseler officiating. Visitation will be Friday from noon until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorial may be given to Transitions of Western Illinois or Good Samaritan Home.
