Christine Williams, age 60, of 1421 Harrison Place, died Monday, December 4 at 8:50 p.m. in Blessing Hospital.
She was born September 5, 1946 in Hannibal, MO the daughter of Louis and Katherine Osbourne Hively. On July 29, 1988 she married Jack L. Williams in Hannibal, MO. He survives.
She was a graduate of Hannibal McCooey Catholic High School, and was a member of Catholic faith. Chris owned and operated the Harrison Pub in Quincy.
Survivors in addition to her husband include 2 sons, Christopher J. Williams and his wife Shana; Michael W. Williams and his wife Tammy, St. Louis, MO; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Williams, Quincy, Nicole and Megan Williams, St. Louis, MO; a great granddaughter Neveah Williams, Quincy; her stepfather William Henderson, Hannibal, MO; 2 brothers, Steve Hively and his wife Nancy, Quincy; Shawn Hively, Liberty, IL; 2 sisters, Sheryl Dedert, Washington, Iowa; Pat Henderson, Quincy, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Disseler officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorials made to Quincy Humane Society in her name would be greatly appreciated. Following the burial, friends and family are invited to a reception at the Harrison Pub.
